Playoff predictions 2010, round two

April 30, 2010 at 7:42 am (Sports and fitness) ()

Well, first round is over. I predicted only one of the match-up results exactly right to the number of games (Vancouver), but got about half of them wrong.

Here’s my predictions for round two. And just so we’re clear, I’m rooting for the Canuks to take the cup. Wouldn’t that make 2010 the best year ever for Vancouver – hosting the Olympics and then winning the Stanley Cup? I think it would be pretty fantastic. I just don’t want to see a repeat of the Red Wings and Penguins in the finals. That’s getting a little old.

San Jose Sharks vs. Detroit Red Wings – Sharks in seven
Montreal Canadiens vs. Pittsburgh Penguins – Canadiens in seven
Boston Bruins vs. Philadelphia Flyers – Bruins in six
Chicago Blackhawks vs. Vancouver Canucks – Canucks in six

I’m going to have to agree with you on all fronts.
Habs v Bruins in East final….that’ll be sweet!

I agree with the east, disagree with the west.

    Habs, Bruins, Wings and Blackhawks.

    Book it.

I absolutely LOVE that you called the Habs/Pens series. Sorry about the Canucks though..
