Football and music

March 9, 2010 at 9:45 am (Colombia, Photos)

I thought I’d share some pictures with you of some of the recent happenings in my world of Colegio Ekklesia. Sports and music, mostly. Enjoy!

Primary school students compete in an ongoing soccer tournament.

Meanwhile, high school is having a "football-tennis" tournament.

So … football-tennis is a game with two teams. There is a low net between them, and the players have to pass the soccer ball back and forth over the net using, well, basically everything but their hands. These kids spend hours kicking the ball around in a circle or passing it in teams so they are super good.

Preschoolers Juan Andres, Juan Pablo, Jeremy and Juan David pause in their play for a photo.

To celebrate International Women's Day, tenth grade surprised the school and had a band come in to entertain us.

Miguel, Santiago and Felipe sang a few special songs for the ladies of the school on Monday.

That’s all for now, folks.

Hey News Junkie. Great photos. Wish I could hear that music. Where are these photos taken? Is it Mexico?
