One of the biggest metaphysical questions out there is: if God is all powerful how can he let bad things happen? The story about the Austrian incestuous father is case in point. One of the problems with free will is that sometimes people choose to do awful things, which then brings the concept of repentance and redemption into play. I think it’s interesting when you bring the concept of free will into the equation.
